Washington Post about a school board member who decided to take his own
state's standardized high school exam. The board member -- who has a
bachelor's degree in science, two master's degrees, and 15 credit hours toward
a doctorate and helps to run a company with 22,000 employees and a $3 billion
operations and capital budget - said he knew none of the 60 questions in math
and earned only a 62 percent on reading, which would have been a D grade in
his system and propelled him into extra reading instruction.
