GretagMacbeth Chart using a software cd or just the chart itself?
I've looked on amazon and it comes with the card itself and then there is a separate software that you need to purchase as well. Do I need to buy the software for it as well or just the color checker chart?
I already have a calibrator (Pantone Huey). I want to make sure I can reproduce all colors perfectly (or best as I can). Any tips on how to use the the color chart in Photoshop CS3 is great as well. Thanks in advance.
I suppose you are referring to the GretagMacbeth Eye One Pro color management system. If so, you will need their color chart plus their software and related hardware all working together. The system can build color profiles for your digital camera/back, monitor, printer and paper. Once completed, you should be able to get pretty close color reproduction, but not 100%, I believe it is impossible to capture and then reproduce color "perfectly" with existing technology. I personally prefer the Macbeth system over Pantone. I assume you know how to build and use color profiles.
