Adding full color images to vinyl banners will create banner designs with more impact and a more professional appearance. Placing a full color photograph on your vinyl banner is often the simplest way to do this. If you want to give a photograph or image to a vinyl banner design, attempt to keep a other things in your mind. In order to look crisp and clear a photo must have the correct resolution. At America-Banners.com we try to prevent resolution at about 100 ppi (pixels per inch) at regular size. Basically in case you have an illustration that's 300 ppi at 8" x 10", then you have the option to comfortably blow up to about 24" x 30" (which can give you 100 ppi). In fact you are able to probably go as low as 50 ppi and are still be quite satisfied together with the output, simply because images are normally intended to be viewed coming from a distance of a minimum of 10 feet away.
Second, it truly is often important to brighten up the colors of your respective vinyl banner images. It is possible to usually do that by increasing the contrast. In Photoshop the simplest technique to achieve this is by "pinching" the amounts. Open the degrees window and pull the shadows (dark shades) control towards the middle (to your right), and pull the highlights control into the left. This will brighten your light colors and darken your dark colors while eliminating some of the "mudiness" of those mid tones.
"Sharpening" your images will also have a brightening effect. Your images will normally appear much crisper and sharper after you "punch them up" with a bit of sharpening. But don't deliberate.
Finally, we recommend doing work in CMYK mode instead of RGB. Vinyl banners at America-Banners.com are printed on CMYK printing devices using solvent inks. Rather than looking forward to the printing system to convert your RGB (the default color system used at the computer) convert it yourself so you can see what you are going to get. RGB might possibly be misleading since it uses a broader color "gamut" than CMYK. You can find colors you will see for the computer monitor you simply cannot reproduce with CMYK inks especially not with solvent inks for the medium like vinyl. You might also know this prior to get the printing done. If it is vital that you reproduce a specific color and if you encounter time a symbol can be produced on the actual vinyl banner material to display you the way it will look.
At America-Banners.com we utilise true solvent inks because they are ideal for full color printing intended for use in bright sunlight or other harsh seasonal conditions (for example rain). Solvent inks resist fading as a consequence of UV exposure, and handle wind and rain. Non solvent inks will fade in bright sunlight. Using images (photos, logos, special artwork, etc.) on your own banners is better, but we don't recommend utilizing this approach for out of doors projects unless they're being printed with solvent inks. Solvent inks are also produce a great deal more durable vinyl banners for applications like reveal banners or event backdrops where they are going to be rolled or faded repeatedly, and handled lots.

I just bought a 7 inch vinyl...?
i just bought a "My Chemical Romance - Famous Last Words" 7 inch vinyl from eBay and it came in today... when i opened it it looked all cool and stuff and then i realized that it was square... is there any reason it should be that way... could it still be played like that... it still has some little lines in the middle like i know a vinyl should have... is this right or do you think i was sent a fake copy...
i looked it up and found it that its apparently not a 7" vinyl like i originally thought it was, its a 7" picture disk which is still supposed to be playable...
Aww, that's cute!
As long as the grooves are circular, it doesn't matter the overall shape of the record.
