When you use a white board you save on paper which is helping the environment, although whether or not dry erase markers are completely safe for the environment is debatable.
You can enjoy the use of a number of colors by using different markers. On the other hand, one needs to be careful in assuring they are using real dry-erase markers. The use of the wrong marker will result in markings that might be almost impossible to delete.
